Welcome to the journey of my life! A travel blog created by a tireless traveler who aims to help you get on the adventure. Here you will find Diaries of my travels, guides, tips, recommendations, impressions, and budgets about the 38 destinations visited by this blogger.

If you are one of those who are considering starting to travel alone, here you will also find an entire section dedicated to solving different questions.

Also, if you like what you read, you can subscribe to the blog free of charge, and you will receive a monthly email from me with all the news.

My travels

I am the daughter of Spanish emigrants, and you can say that I was born traveling. I started when I was only four months old, and I haven’t stopped since.

First I have traveled with my family, with school, with my friends and with my partner, mainly in Europe. 2010 was a year that changed my life: I had always traveled with people, and suddenly, I started doing it alone for the first time. This was the beginning of everything. In 2016, I took another much more significant leap and started to travel four months alone around the world.

In the destinations section of my blog, you have the information separated by countries. In them, you will find all my adventures (my travel journals) but also my best guides, tips, recommendations, budgets, and itineraries to visit each of the 38 destinations I have been to. I have already been to Europe, Asia, America, and a little bit of Africa (I have not yet set foot in Oceania. If you click on the name of the destination you are interested in, you will find much more practical information you need to know about it, as well as characteristic features about its culture, its history, and its gastronomy, among many other things.

Travel tips

In this blog, there is neither trap nor cardboard. All my experience is yours, and I hope it helps.

In the tips section, you will have more information that I hope will be useful for finding Cheap Flights, choosing the best rooms and hotels according to your tastes, last minute offers, buying tickets for different tourist attractions, how the Interrail Pass works or even discovering what Couchsurfing is. I’ll try to guide you through booking your vacation weeks the cheapest way with your partner, your family, your friends, or alone.

This section is divided into the following sections:

  • How to prepare a trip (recommendations on luggage, backpacks, and various preparations)?
  • Transportation (how to travel cheap, flights, trains, buses, car, etc.)
  • Accommodation (tips and various accommodation options)

This page, at the same time, is instead designed for an average traveler: it is not one of those blogs to travel cheap or without money nor a blog oriented to luxury travel. I will always try to show you how to save a lot but also not to spend hardship during your vacation. You can find my travel budgets, with prices broken down by day, to get an idea.

Traveling alone

In 2010, at the age of 30, I decided to face my fear: going alone. Launching myself on the adventure of traveling alone has provided me with great joy, and, from my travel page, I would like to encourage other people to do so as it changed my life. 2016 was also a final year in that regard as I decided to leave for four months of travel through Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar, Thailand, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile. So if I could, can you! After a lot of work (as a translator and editor of this blog), I have lived a life of digital nomad since February 2019.
