Nice version of “NBTW” that does away with the a capella opening in favor of a guitar powered lead in. Followed very nicely by a local favorite “Sweet Virginia” by the Stones at the 9:40 mark.

You’ll have to register for the Dave Matthews taping site Dreaming Tree to download the June 21st show and the June 20th show.

The taper, Jason Johnson, asks not to spread the show in lossy (MP3) formats so I won’t put any samples out here.

As I sit here listening on my headphones to this show all I can say is, wow. This band is really in a live groove on this show. Listen to the double whammy of “Tonight’s The Night” followed by the slashing guitar lead on “Over Again” (one of my personal faves) to understand what it’s all about.

The Sun Studios Blog once again posts a killer clip of the formation of “Sugar” from Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.

Check out Scott’s killer axe. Thanks JD and the folks at Sun Studios for this. Those of you who’ve seen the band recently know that this song has become a staple in the setlist.
