These two were such a highlight on Saturday – really love the acoustic side of this band, it gives both Scott and Benny a chance to showcase their talents along with Grace’s vocals – full band on Crazy Parade was my other highlight of the evening!

I should also say, that while these are all the older tunes that I’m highlighting, it does not mean I didn’t enjoy hearing the new songs, because I surely did, especially Low Road and Oasis! I just really enjoy the diversity of the mingling the old with the new, and the rocking out loud tunes with the stripped down simplicity of the acoustic. For me, this diversity is what makes for a fine night of Live Music!!

Thank you Nocturnals!

They should do an acoustic portion whenever they can……it was a nice change and the tunes selected were excellent!!

So True…
I agree, and wanted to post that before I read your posts. I was so very impressed when I saw Benny and Grace do the San Diego “Low Road” acoustic. Not everyone is as accepting of the diversity, but on the other hand, it will touch more folks if they do make a habit of mixing in a couple of these at more shows. Not every venue (crowd) is willing to sit quietly for them to appreciate it, but it would be nice when they are at the theater style venues in the future. I love to dance to the powerful rock beats, but relax some as well.

Amen and pass the collection plate! The video [new favorite] had me hoping … But is an absolutely brilliant addition to the Show!!! I sat down for a song too but it sure wasn’t those two!!! Grace Potter and the Nocturnals get better every time I see them … And what more can you ask?!?

Agree with the above!

love the acoustic mini set idea and hope it becomes a regular feature ..
seems like a lot of songs could make a featured appearance – Colors immediately comes to mind.
can’t please everyone as Eric noted but think most would be willing to trade their bouncing for a period of swaying when the pay off is so very good !

While HOB and Saturday’s show were both amazing, I feel like getting to see Grace, Scott, and Benny do these was a rare treat and I feel so lucky to have been there. Absolutely amazing and I loved being with you all!
