The music geek/snob in me must point out that “White Rabbit” was originally recorded by Grace Slick’s band “The Great Society” and not Jefferson Airplane. While it’s hard to argue against the Airplane’s musical chops the original is certainly a fun listen. The vocals don’t kick in until well into the song.

Music geek/snob/enlightener = Music purist methinks.
It was a very long wait, but worth it. Thanks.
Also thanks for reference #2 to interview where Grace talked about “sanctity of [an] album,” and said ” I get my Pete Townshend moment every show.”
I started wondering if the word “purist” conveyed my meaning, and found some very unflattering definitions upon looking it up. It was meant only in a most complimentary sense.
nice numbers build for White Rabbit !!!
children’s (?!?) …. bit of Amazon listing weirdness ?
KC .. I greatly admire your vast knowledge of music and hope you will continue to share it with us . . as long as I don’t have to like everything
… it was fun to hear that though …
