And it took 4 months for the song to make it to the stage, premiering at Roanake, Virginia, 25 October 2009.

As a long-time Who fan, and newbie GP&N fan, I am most pleased to learn of this cover, and I was a bit surprised to hear her say in the accompanying interview she enjoys playing it, since I have checked out quite a few of her setlists on Archive.org and never seen it. On the setlist for the show in Roanoke referenced by Tedheadone, it is not listed either. I did find it about five times or so from 2008 shows, so I guess she hasn’t performed it with the new personnel yet. Here is a 47 second segment on youtube from Mountain Jam 5/30/08:

Thanks for posting this K. Cortez! I am sharing the link to this page with my Who listserve and inviting them to browse the selections on right side of this blog.

Charles, I think Tedheadone was referring to the clip of “Things I Never Needed” and not “Getting In Tune”

I see three versions of “Getting In Tune” on the archive

http://www.archive.org/details/gpn2008-10-22.ccm4

The most recent being 10/22 of 2008 so no, it hasn’t been performed with the new lineup.

Thanks for the link!
