As much as Potter is thrilled to be playing the ASCAP showcase, the self-confessed “film head” is excited to wander Park City and take in some movies. “I’ve been on the website all morning, looking at what screenings to go to,” she says. “I’m pretty sure we’re pretty low when it comes to access. There’s no sense of entitlement here. Film festivals to me are like Disneyland. It’s really enjoyable and fascinating to take it all in. I’m such a gear-head with that kind of thing. Just to be able to walk down the street and know the community, I’m just in awe.”
