That’s right, it’s the ASCAP Music Cafe – a popular music destination during the festival.
Looks like the band is on the schedule for January 28th and 29th.
I’m going out a limb to say these tickets might be tough to get.

Is it completely off the wall to think being in the middle of the Sundance festival improves one’s odds to get a song picked up for a movie ?
2far -
absolutely not! that is a VERY definite possibility.
Teri and I went to the Sundance Film Festival a number of years ago – maybe 2003 (the year “13″ won awards) – had quite a weekend! One cool aspect of Park City during the Festival, is NO limos or taxis in town – everyone rides the free shuttle buses between films, parties and clubs – so everyone there is rubbing elbows with the stars and wannabees everywhere you go.
Saw only one movie while there – “13″ , had a short encounter with Holly Hunter- we spent most of our time in the “No Name Saloon” – go figure.
I have heard that the “social club” membership is no longer a state law, so bar-hopping may be easier now.
GPN will rock that town for sure – we saw Jonny Laing play there, and the crowd was pretty revved up for him – I can only imagine the respomse to GPN – they will be loved! Whomever is responsible for this booking deserves a nice bonus check – this exposure will be fantastic!
