Like Michael Jordan in his heyday with the Bulls GPN seemed to reach another level of performance during, arguably, the most important music festival of the summer. Thankfully, most of the performance was captured for posterity on YouTube although sadly the AT&T Blueroom original source seems to have disappeared from the interwebs. While my preference leans towards the pedal to the metal opener of “Some Kind of Ride” this version of “Medicine” surely made people pay attention to what the band could do.
GPN was everywhere over the weekend – making the most of the opportunity. Whether it be in Q&A sessions or simple strumming a guitar backstage.
The GPN>moe>GPN switchover was viewed as all kinds of awesome by moe fans. (Lots of tunes at that link).

All in all I can’t imagine this weekend working out any better for the band. I can report that website traffic hit all time highs after this weekend and have stayed consistently stronger since.

Hmmmmm, this is indeed getting very interesting. # 4 & #5 could easily be a #1.
I will hold off on the debate until we see the entire list.
Generally avoid the annual “(fill in the blank) list” deluge but this ? . . this is fun !
Absolutely loving it … You go boy! Don’t see this as an enjd of the year blitz, rather, selfishly see it as a beginning of The GPN’s Blitzkrieg that’s about to take Burlington by Storm! I mean … You Are about to spend several days with them … You want to be fresh on their minds ;*)
I kid. You Killa have been pivotal in spreading the word about our favorite band, and I thank you again, forever. The evolution of thisissomewhere.com has been as exciting as the bands. To just happen to coincide with the Nocturnals meteoric rise in popularity has got to be exciting for you.
We are all incredibly lucky to have found Grace & The band … uhhh … In the Noc of time! Sorry 8*) But 2010 is going to RAWK!
