Rex Musical Caravan – December 13th in San Francisco – Meet/Greet with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals

Enjoy a fun, festive reception with a special beverage tasting, mingling with the artists, as well as first access to seating and viewing the show. Guests will also receive a special take-away gift.

The Rex Foundation endeavors with its Rex Musical Caravan to be a vehicle for fun, spirited connections and uplifting musical experiences for a broad community of musicians and fans alike, while also raising funds for grant making. Collaborations with such gifted musicians as Grace Potter and The Nocturnals and supportive venues like The Fillmore at events like the reception/concert on December 13 help further a tradition of grassroots giving and demonstrate the power of community, service and the arts.

Rex Musical Caravan 2009 : For the rest of this year, we’ll dedicate proceeds from Rex Musical Caravan events to grants that support creative arts education in the public high schools and grassroots community groups.

Nice . . chance to be part of something meaningful plus potential for new fans who might not hear GPN otherwise . . very nice.

This makes my day. I love that this band purposefully makes giving important in their lives. The world is a better place for it! I’d buy a ticket to the Fillmore, but that’s not happening, so I’m thinking of making a donation. What a wonderful website and foundation! First I heard of it. Thanks for the tip!
