bennington vermont – july 10th

by k. cortez on July 10, 2009

What can I say, thanks to everyone who made it – much appreciated.

What can I say? From where I sat (front row center) this was the best performance I’ve seen. Amazing really. Venue – perfect, sound – stellar.

Wow, just wow.

Agreed, great venue and sound. Excellent audience. Nice to hear the stripped down versions of songs.

KC, thanks for everything last night and all the hard work that went into making it all possible. Big props! As a taper, it was probably the most relaxed and easiest show I’ve ever taped! :)

1st class event! Thanks Mojo! Thanks to all that donated their time – Grace, Matt, Justin, Jr., and Mojo’s family. And the best thing about it is — it benefitted the school and the kids! Wow! Fantastic! Love that posse picture. What a special night!

KC – what can we say, but THANK YOU for making such an incredible evening possible. It couldn’t have been more perfect from the weather, to the setting, to the music itself.

Highlights for me were seeing you enjoying the fruits of your labors with your family right there in that beautiful carriage barn and the debut of the song Colors. What an incredible piece of music that one is, and to have heard it first played on the piano and sung by Grace in that simply beautiful place is something I shall always remember. Moving is to small a word to describe it.

Meet and Greet out in the sunshine was a blast and handing off our cell phone to Grace to surprise Amy – PRICELESS!!

Thank you again, and again.

Very late to the thread – laptop was being a pain on the road for some reason – but had to add how much I appreciated this small intimate concert to the other comments being made. That the school benefited from our musical pleasure makes it just that much sweeter. Was also nice to hear Grace make it clear she appreciates how much work KC puts into this blog.
Suspect a show like this will be much harder to find after the new album drops.
