Vermont rocktress Grace Potter is back with her Nocturnals to release their third LP album, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals.
the bangles : hero takes a fall
First chick band that I thought was great. Listen to those harmonies and that lead guitar sound. Before they “sold out” (which they themselves admit) they had a great thing going. In 1985 I hung out pre and post show with them in a bar in Virginia Beach – still a night to remember. Susanna is still doing it with Matthew Sweet – Rain, Different Drum, Cinnamon Girl, You’re So Vain, Maggie May – check out “Under The Covers”.
zooey for the win
“She & Him” video premier of “In The Sun” – Zooey hula hoops! Stick a fork in me.
lissie : little lovin'
Lissie is one of my favorite new voices.

Goodness gracious. Now I see what I missed during the show.
Have to turn the PC off for a bit. It’s currently on fire!
WOW!
I know you fellas won’t agree – but the cleavage is a little distracting! Maybe a little too much?
Jackie, I’ve gotta say that in my view both women have more than enough talent to make a statement without the blatent over the top sex appeal thing, but too each his own I guess. Then again when you’re young and you’ve got it- you do tend to flaunt it, if I recollect . . .
Grace has never been one to really rock the cleavage in the past so I’m willing to let this one slide.
I agree with the philosophy that if you’ve got it, then flaunt it. Aren’t they worried though, that something is going to slip (must be taped down well!) with all that jumping around and guitar playing??!!
You’re talking about a wardrob malfunction ala Janet Jackson. I live near Rothbury but can’t afford those tickets.
