Update from the ether, not the “First ever off-campus gig” but certainly the first gig with Scott.
From the MySpace text – “Captured at the 1st ever “off-campus” public concert by Grace Potter & the Nocturnals: July 5, 2003 Eclipse Theater, Waitsfield, Vermont.” Anyone care to verify that?
Update via Scott: .Jen and I did in fact open that show as a folk duo (my dad liked to bust on us and call us Ian & Sylvia)…We forgot our set list and were a little unsure of the time, so the promoter walked down the center aisle and not so subtly gave us the hook…Later, during Grace’s set, I sat in on guitar for my first ever performance with GPN

I can verify that it’s the Waitsfield Movie Theater – now known as “The Big Picture Theater and Cafe”
