List of things Bryan cares about
From the Solid State Blog
(Editor’s Note: While Grace Potter & the Nocturnals are on a brief hiatus to recover from extensive touring and to prepare for hitting the studio again, bassist Bryan Dondero has some time to kill. He recently approached me about contributing to the blog to “get his write on.” To which I said, “right on.” Today, he chimes in on Dan Auerbach and the Amish. Take it away Bryan. . . – DB)

Do enjoy Byran’s writing and very glad to see him pursuing it.
Smiled when saw his piece about Leonard Cohen’s tour. I’ve been listening to an NPR podcast of 12 of the 27 songs from his incredible 3 hour concert at the Beacon (2/19) off and on all day. Put the link on the message board earlier but for those who may not travel . . .

FUN! Had to post the monkey one over on my blog, for obvious reasons. “Monkey See, Monkey Do, Monkey Poo All Over You!”
Bryan man you been farting on that couch too long…get up and find something to occupy your mind.
Bryan a well written article there my friend.
Bryan – Artie has always loved Leonard Cohen’s music – in our early years of marriage [1971 - 19???] I thought the music to be ever so depressing [...and there are no letters on the mailbox...and there are no grapes upon the vine...] – then, when he added the violin and his female background singer, I started to love his music – “dance me to the end of love”, has been a favorite of mine for quite a few years now. [think it's the Hungarian in me loving this one...] I am sending Artie the link to your writing – he will enjoy!
Only one problem so far with Mr. Cohen. $90.00 for a ticket upstairs in the rear. Ouch! I can purchase 25 shares of Live Nation stock for that price.
. . think I’d go with Cohen
