Vermont rocktress Grace Potter is back with her Nocturnals to release their third LP album, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals.
the bangles : hero takes a fall
First chick band that I thought was great. Listen to those harmonies and that lead guitar sound. Before they “sold out” (which they themselves admit) they had a great thing going. In 1985 I hung out pre and post show with them in a bar in Virginia Beach – still a night to remember. Susanna is still doing it with Matthew Sweet – Rain, Different Drum, Cinnamon Girl, You’re So Vain, Maggie May – check out “Under The Covers”.

there are no worms in tequila – only in mescal.
supoosedly, the worm is placed in the bottle to eat any impurities left when bottled.

Every time you do a posting like this I fall for it! Damn!#$%&* I think “whoa – cool – a new tune is being rollled out.” One day I shall learn to stop trusting you. I really miss the days when they used to debut new stuff on the road. I’m ready for some new material. I am however, enjoying the bejesus outa’ the Nina Simone cover.
I know this will show how old I am but that used to be the song I jammed to getting ready to go out and get sexy when I was in my 20’s. It is Gloria Estevan and it is called CONGA. Awesome CD really.
