Lyrics to “I Want Something That i Want” by Grace Potter and Bethany Joy Galeotti available soon. What did you think of the show? Please feel free to leave a comment. Unfortunately, your blog host doesn’t have television but I’m sure that I totally loved Joy’s outfit.

Did they put in “Ah, Mary” over the credits or something?

Lyrics – “I Want Something That i Want” – (A Hymn To Consumerism)
I’m a girl with the best intentions
Something I should probably mention
I like to get just what i paid for
So I pay and I get and I pay and I want some more more more

And I want something that I want
Something I tell myself I need
Something that I want
I need everything I see

I’m a girl who’s got a notion
I’m a’gonna show you my magic potion
I could shop til I drop right to the floor
And I get right up and I want some more more more

And I want something that I want
Something I tell myself I need
Something that I want
I need everything I see

I want something that I want
Something that I tell myself I need
Something that I want
I need everything I see

Repeat until the bailout takes hold.

Seriously, take a look around – you might be surprised. I would suggest clicking right here to see what Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are all about.

Having never even heard of the show before it was posted on this site, I had no idea who was who, or what was going on. The segments with Grace were good she seems to be a natural in acting as she is on stage with her music. Both segments were edited way too short, the duet really didn’t impress me when I heard it Tuesday on iTunes, but was actually pretty good tonight. Rather catchy in a “pop” sorta way……

Ah, a nice consumerist jingle, just in time for the holidays.

Ah Mary was done during one of the scenes not with the credits. It sounded quite incredible in the background.

Discovered I actually have that channel on my tv (keep just the few channels I’ll watch on the remote – makes for easier surfing), so taped and watched the show later. Fine job by Grace. Did anyone notice that the credits included a screen featuring “Mastermind” in big red letters with shadowy picture of a laboratory in the background? Something to do with GPN, or just a coincidence?

Love it! Love the song, love the concept; and, yes, I do believe.

I don’t know if you have noticed, but the duet/song is currently ranked #54 on the Top 100 list on iTunes. And #6 on the Rock Top 100.

Referring to “Mastermind” song, of course.

Van, that is one great tease – can’t wait to see where it’s going.
A nocturnal laboratory sounds wonderfully eerie . . lol

Repeat until the bailout takes hold.
Good grief – having a 1990′s flashback here . . . . .

Last nights episode ranked #7 on I Tune Top TV Episodes. People are still watching on their hand helds.
