Decided to watch the whole episode to get a feel for the show. Much to my not-a-TV-watcher surprise I found myself liking some of the characters – particularly the couple in the moving in together story line – they made me laugh. Overall it reminded me a bit of shows like Knots Landing back when I did watch a lot of TV.
Grace seemed as natural and comfortable playing this part as she is in real life interacting with her fans or doing an interview. She’s mentioned she would like to do a cameo part in a movie – maybe this is a foot in the door. Would suspect adding doing the score for a TV show to an artist’s fact sheet couldn’t hurt either.
Will be interesting to see what happens now. Business side feels like it’s watching an experiment in multi-media cross pollination.
My fan side is just simply smiling.
