Denmark is a very beautiful little country Medine. I brought my bicycle over there a number of years ago now, but have great memories. I based myself in Kubenhavn and loved touring the area, meeting the people and enjoying the food and beer too!

I have only heard good things about the band, so I can definitely imagine them being incredible performers! Grace has a strong voice, so I can imagine her reaching out to the audience easily. Denmark is such a little country, but there are so many bands I would love to see perform here, the Nocturnals are high up on that list! I love this band, I don’t know if you’ve heard of them, Beach House. I don’t know anybody who knows them, but I got an e-mail awhile ago that said that they would visit Denmark, so I have hope for the Nocturnals.

I definitely agree, their voices meshed so well. They have different voices, but the result of their different voices blending, made the song so much more harmonic.

Medine -to say that the Noc’s are really good live is the understatement of the century. At least in my mind! They are all at their best performing to a crowd – they relate to the audience and the energy is incredible – not just Grace but Scott on lead guitars, Mad Man Matt on the drums and Bryan on the bass. They are a very cohesive unit and I hope you can see them live – they were in Lugano just a few months ago, and maybe they’ll return to Europe soon, I’m betting they’d like to.

I will say that though I don’t know Joy’s work – her voice really does blend well with Grace’s on the song they’ve done here, in the clip I’ve hear.

No problem. I heard “Apologies” earlier this year, but I never really got the chance to listen the album. And I definitely like it! But I had to order it, seeing that Grace isn’t known here in Denmark, but I have heard she is really good live, so I would definitely like to see her stop by here soon, heh!

I can definitely see why it may be a little odd for Grace fans to suddenly see her portray somebody else, but the dialogue usually sucks on OTH, so that is nothing new.

Joy is not all that known. She recorded a record with Epic Records a few years ago, but she was dropped, because they changed management and her style wasn’t what they were looking for or something along that – and the album hasn’t been released, though three songs were released on her Epic site. She also have three songs on the, “Ten Inch Hero” soundtrack which won an indie award for being the best soundtrack. And she has done two EP discs, one during her time on a daytime show, and one when she was touring the country with the, The Wreckers and Tyler Hilton on the oth music tour.

And there is an error in that scene, because if I am correct, Haley never released an album (she performed a song with Tyler Hilton, the duet, “When the Stars Go Blue” which reached No. 89 the Pop 100 chart), so the viewers probably have no clue which album Grace is referring to.

I really hope they will put the song up on cdbaby.com, because it Joy’s, “Feel This” debuted #1 on the CD Baby Top Seller list!

I truly think this could be good for both Grace and Joy. Or I hope!

I’m thinking I’m glad I won’t be able to catch the show – gotta agree with Kired, hard to watch that dialogue, feel like I slipped into another dimension.

But, that’s only because I know who the singer is in the show and I haven’t a clue about the actress (even if she might be a singer too – and it’s Joy I’m speaking of here)

I’m a realist too, and Medine thanks for coming on board and telling us you bought a Noc’s CD because of hearing of the duets – I’m just going hope that many more will do the same in the next week or too, just like you.

Oh and I don’t know if any of you noticed, but a friend of mine did and apparently the song was on ranked #96 on the Rock list at iTunes. And this is good considering the fact that it has yet to be promoted. I am sure it will reach higher after the episode has aired. Joy’s, “Feel This” was in the top 10, both in the US and various European countries last season, if I am correct.

Honestly? It is a horrible show, if you ask me. But it may be a good move for Grace and the Nocturnals. I may not watch the show anymore, but after having bought the duet between Grace and Joy, I found myself wanting to get “This is Somewhere”. This is obviously not a Nocturnals song, but I like it.

And I am a Joy fan, so it is safe to say, that this isn’t a Joy song either. Her music tends to be a little more calm and as she has said herself, her lyrics tend to be a little dramatic, so I would rather have wanted Grace and Joy to do a duet with their own styles, but this is solely for the show, I think.

The songs Joy have performed on the show as Haley tend to be more pop-like, and this duet does, too.
