Grace Potter and the Nocturnals return to Burlington, VT on August 16th at Burlington’s Waterfront park. Tickets available here. Blues and Lasers will open.
“I hope there’s a beautiful sunset like last year, it was probably the most picturesque thing I have ever seen. It was too beautiful for words. That combination of being in such a beautiful place and our homecoming (this week), which is really special to us, we will be paying extra attention to bringing on the rock in the best way possible — without scaring people away,†she laughed.
The band members, all of whom have ties to Vermont, are looking forward to the Lake Champlain Maritime Festival. “Summer in Vermont is something we’ve been missing out on. For the last four years we’ve been away from May until September or October. I always love coming home. I’m hoping when I get to Waitsfield to just chill out a little, go down to the Farmer’s Market.”
Potter is confidant that, rain or shine, the waterfront performance will be a great one. “I think its going to be a special experience to give back to Vermonters what they’ve given to us over the years.”

What a beautiful picture, and such good articles. I hope the band and all of you who are attending this event get the spectacular sunset that Grace is hoping for.
No they aren’t, none of this is happening, la la la…poop. I wanna go so bad it hurts.
More hints about another album. I like that.
Amen
The sunset wasn’t as spectaculat but there was a full moon and we had 7 hours of great music and good times with the best friends a person could ever hope to have. Can we do it again this weekend?
