may miss photos like this, but people several generations from now might be able to experience nature. don’t tell me you haven’t learned about the need to be more friendly to our environment and to put aside our desires for materialistic pleasings in hope that we can conserve our natural environment for the sake of our health, our liking for natural settings…the list goes on. it’s absolutely fricken GREAT that they ditched that chemical ridden product.

I’m guessing polaroid chemicals are pretty far down the chain of concerns. Still, I hear ya – but from an artistic standpoint (my wife used to do Polaroid Transfers) these are hard to beat.

And now that the new owners of Polaroid have switched from small chemical-based films to poorly made (read: quickly disposed) digital cameras, tvs and microwaves that clearly take up more space in landfills, I’m guessing that’s the best direction a company could take. 3.5×5″ flat chemical squares vs. 30″ televisions. Good call.
