skowhegan opera house grace potter and the nocturnals

by k. cortez on June 28, 2008

Media is beginning to creep in, a few from Kired below. The live stream sounded fantastic, kudos to the sound techs for GPN and the folks from MPBN. I’m excited to hear the download.

“Here’s To The Meantime”

“Animal Kicking It”

Looks like the heads of Elizabeth and Todd right up front where they should be. Oh Yeah!

I like all the groovin’ going on up front, looks like fun! That was an awesome show, I had a perfect evening at home listening, the only thing that would have been more perfect would have been to actually be there groovin’ with other fans. I was excited to hear the ‘Sugar’ opener. I am lovin’ that song right now! Thanks for sharing the show, it was an evening well spent for me at home in MD.

I really look forward to getting that particular download. I’m not sure where to go to get it though. Here? MPBN.net?

Can’t say enough about the sound of that show.

Guava - the groovin up front was first rate - I was right on the rail next to tipi and laney, and my husband just experienced his second show - last one was more sedate but front row, this one was on your feet dancing from the first second until the final encore - and he is now a bonafide die hard noctomaniac.

There was magic in the house last night - it was a hot one all the way round - no a/c in the lovely old opera house, but with the calibre of live music played - it was so good to get so . . .sticky . . .as Grace might say.
