Vermont rocktress Grace Potter is back with her Nocturnals to release their third LP album, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals.
the bangles : hero takes a fall
First chick band that I thought was great. Listen to those harmonies and that lead guitar sound. Before they “sold out” (which they themselves admit) they had a great thing going. In 1985 I hung out pre and post show with them in a bar in Virginia Beach – still a night to remember. Susanna is still doing it with Matthew Sweet – Rain, Different Drum, Cinnamon Girl, You’re So Vain, Maggie May – check out “Under The Covers”.
zooey for the win
“She & Him” video premier of “In The Sun” – Zooey hula hoops! Stick a fork in me.
lissie : little lovin'

The Nocturnals do it again…MIND BLOWING PERFORMANCE!!! TRIPLE WOW!!!
Did you hang on and see Grace and Matt join Warren for a smokin’ version of “Whole Lotta Love” as the final song of his first set Friday night? Rich Vogel also joined on keys.
I missed it, but I’ve got the audio and I’ll be uploading that later tonight!
My first time seeing Grace and the Nocturnals. She blew me away and I loved it when all the band members took to the drum kit.
I said to a friend Warren & Grace on Whole Lotta Love would make Robert Plant proud. Certainly it was one of the highlights of an awesome weekend of music
