gpn with gov’t mule

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are on a mini-tour with Gov’t Mule (Kind of High and Somewhat Mighty?). Tonight and tomorrow is a two night run in New Orleans that I’m sure will produce some fabuloso musical moments. In the last few days Grace and Scott have joined Gov’t Mule on stage for “Find The Cost Of Freedom”, “Ohio”, “Gold Dust Woman”, “Honky Tonk Women” and this slow funk roll of “After Midnight”. Based on the guitar tones I’m guessing it’s Scott wailing through the first solo. Enjoy.

Grace steps in to do “Gold Dust Woman”. While it’s an iffy version if you’re a stickler for lyrics Grace’s voice sounds powerful and, well, it’s clear the Mule fans love her isn’t it?
