Grace Potter and The Nocturnals played a John Prine song with Josh Ritter on August 19th at The Waterfront in Burlington, VT. This show just was just recently loaded to archive.org.

I heard Allah and Buddha were singing at the Savior’s feast
And up the sky and Arabian rabbi
Fed Quaker oats to a priest.
Pretty good, not bad, they can’t complain
Cause actually all them gods is just about the same
Pretty good, not bad, I can’t complain
Cause actually everything is just about the same

and just because it’s such a great cover, here is Josh doing “The River” by Bruce Springsteen during a WXPN show.

I was just listening to this show when this post popped up. The energy of the whole show is fantastic, and they rocked this cover. Wish i could have been there!
